Wu long tea is purported to increase calorie burning, block absorption of carbohydrates, and improve quality of skin. There have been a couple studies done in Japan that support these claims, but the real benefits are not yet proven. As with any other nutritional supplement, check with your doctor to be sure it will not interfere with any medicines you may be taking or health conditions that you have.
