To help take the mystery out of what to do with your hair, we went to Kendall Ong and Beate Assmuth-Ong, the owners of Mane Attraction. We had a chance to visit with Kendall. Here's what he had to say.

How did you get started in the hairdressing business?
I realized I wanted to go into hairdressing my junior year in high school. But, being a first generation, oldest son of a Chinese immigrant mother, going to university was not a choice but a requirement. I studied architecture for three years which we have incorporated into our philosophy and how we approach hair. Making people feel good about themselves and have confidence in their appearance is what I enjoy most about my work.

How did you and Beate end up at Mane Attraction?
Beate and I both started our careers with Vidal Sassoon. Between us, we have over 40 years of international experience. In 1998, we purchased Mane Attraction and moved from Washington DC to Phoenix.

What sets Mane Attraction apart from other salons?
