Beading Tips

by Gems Beadbar and LRB Designs

Stringing Those Beads

After you have created your design and before you string your first bead, place a piece of tape on one end of the wire, and fold the tape over to form a tab.

This is a simple but effective method of keeping your beads where you want them on the wire, and not all over the floor.

When you are ready to finish your piece, simply peel the tape from the wire.

How to Keep Instant Jewelry Glue Fresh

If possible, do not clip the end of the tube or applicator.* Instead, remove lid from glue.

Use a toothpick or piece of wire to get a dab of glue.

Apply the dab of glue to your project.

When you are done working on your project for the day, discard the toothpick or wire.

Replace the lid on your glue.

Place the glue bottle in a zip top plastic bag and seal it shut.

*If you must clip the applicator, insert a small straight pin into the tip. Continue with steps 5 and 6.
