Heidi's Summer Photo Contest
Part 3
Heidi recently conducted a summer photo contest where she chose three finalist's photos and created a page layout for them. Below is the third finalist.
Finalist Two: Swim Water
I was captivated by this little guy’s enthusiasm for the water! I was so drawn to the colors in the photos as well. It’s always fun to have a little ‘series’ to document on a scrapbook page. That is what I loved about these photos as well… him getting ready, going under and coming back up… and then-thrilled!
I wanted a simple, bold look on this page, so I chose just a white background. The blue in the photos is such a beautiful blue, that I wanted that to really stand out.
I also chose big, bold ghost letters for my main embellishment… I sanded them all down a bit; the sanding takes the color right off.
I used born free tape and corners… I can’t get enough of that stuff. I love the color combo! I guess I sanded EVERYTHING (figures)
I slid two different colors of chalk ink along the edges of the page. I think it turned out so refreshing!
Thanks to Evana for playing!
