And WineStyles will be at the Sweet Connection Booth pouring these fun “Sweet” Wines! So stop by and say hi and taste our wines! A big thank you to Alliance Beverage for supporting the event and providing the wines.
CRISP ~ Clean Slate Riesling ~ Mosel – Saar – Ruwer, Germany
Fresh and balanced with ripe peach and crisp mineral notes. Clean and elegant whether paired with Asian food or shared with friends. The perfect "by the pool" summer wine!
NECTAR ~ Peter Lehmann Noble Semillon ~ Barossa Valley, Australia
The Barossa Valley is truly the “Napa” of Australia. Here you can find some of the most incredible wines, and some unusual ones as well. Peter Lehmann is very well known for his red wines and he has created this delicious dessert wine with tender loving care. You taste marmalade and apricots with a wonderful complex spiral of luscious sweetness balanced by crisp acidity. A perfectly balanced noble style!

Word of the Week
Botrytis Cinerea ~ or the “Noble Rot” as they call it, is an important fungus to some wine growers. It is necessary for the grape growers to wait for the noble rot to appear before they harvest the grapes. This insures that the grapes have the ultimate amount of sugar, thus creating some of the world’s sweetest wines. The Botrytis can actually create a harmonization with some of the flavors of the grapes to create very unique wines!
