Here’s a new Pinot Noir and a Robert Rothschild Farms Thanksgiving Recipe to get you started. Bon Appetite!
The Wine:
Mellow ~ Nottingham Pinot Noir, Central Coast, California
This is a rich and flavorful Pinot Noir. A complex nose of earth, cherries and rich oak give way to flavors of cherry, blackberry and spice. It finishes with smooth tannins and a lush round mouth feel.
The Food:
Turkey Almond Bake with Blackberry Honey Mustard Dip
Ingredients
1 Tbsp. Flour
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp. Butter, melted
1/2 cup Almonds, slivered
3 cups Turkey, cooked, cubed
1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Blackberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip
1 Unbaked pie shell, frozen
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Almonds, slivered
As desired Parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In medium bowl combine flour, cheese and stir in butter and 1/2 cup slivered almonds.
Add turkey, lemon juice, mayonnaise, Blackberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Fill pie shell with turkey mixture.
Top with the remaining Cheese and Almonds.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Serves 6.
