Advice from Expert Trainer Chris Powell
Alright everyone, fall is upon us and the temperatures are finally dropping below the triple digits! Know what this means? For the next 7 months we are going to be blessed with amazing weather. What better time to get outside and enjoy it!
Working out in your home or gym, it’s common for your workouts to feel ‘stale’ after a while, so one of the best things you can do is to change your workout environment. This will add an exciting new twist on your workouts and give you something to look forward to….here are some fun new ways to change up the same ‘ol boring routine to make it a bit more exciting!
Haven’t worked out in a while, or need to take it easy? Ease into it with some yard work! Planting, digging, mowing, and other gardening activities involve all of the major muscle groups and can help condition your body for more strenuous exercise.
Need to plan your workouts around family time? There are over 200 parks around the city of Phoenix! There’s bound to be one right around the corner from your home. From basketball to field hockey, skateboarding to swimming, Phoenix parks offer just about any activity a family could imagine.
