Naj from Belly Dance Shoppe Studios says bellying dancing is for everyone.
What kind of work out does belly dance provide?
Belly dance is a total work out. It works core muscles as well as the arms and legs. It improves posture, helps develop poise, and improves coordination and concentration. It's also a great way to have fun and meet new friends.
What is the most fun thing about this type of exercise?
I love the music, the movement, the achievement, and making new friends...the glitz, bangles, and beautiful costumes are a great additional reward.
What is your unique exercise style?
Belly Dance Shoppe Studios feature the top talented belly dance instructors in the valley. All our teachers have danced professionally and have between 10 and 30 years experience in Middle Eastern Dance and or music.
Each of our dancers has her own style and expertise. I teach Fundamentals of Belly Dance.
You can also chose beginning through advanced Belly Dance with the incredible Helena Vlaho, and "Fast Track Beginner to Performance" with Alexia. Famous Middle Eastern-born Gabby Tawil teaches Middle Eastern Percussion and we have tribal style Belly Dance with Tiffany & Anahid, and "The Art of Sensual Dance" with Melissa.
