Working to Prevent Child Abuse

Did you know that four children die every day in the US because of child abuse?

That's why the founders of Childhope petitioned the President to designate April as National Child Abuse Awareness Month.  They went on to get Congress to declare the first Wednesday in April as the National Day of Hope to increase awareness of the consequences of child abuse in our country.

ChildHelp is the nations largest and oldest non-profit organization dedicated to preventing and treating forms of child abuse and its national headquarters is right here in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Founders Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson are determined to change the lives of these kids and prevent others from suffering the same fate.

This year, they've teamed up with philosophy to help raise money for the cause. On Monday, April 2nd, philosophy is unveiling their newest shower gel… Carrot Cake! 100% of the proceeds from sales of the Carrot Cake shower gel will go to Childhelp.

This shower gel is available exclusively at Nordtrom and online at philosophy.com.  Stop by the Scottsdale Nordstrom on April 4th from 10am to 3pm to meet Childhope founders Sara and Yvonne, help the cause by purchasing the Carrot Cake shower gel. Representatives from philosophy will also be there to answer your questions.
