Bridal Showers: Customize Them!

Today, weddings are very personal events that illustrate the character of the bride and groom. Whether it is creating your own logo to use for your wedding or having the bartender serve your favorite drinks...personalization is key! Bridal showers are following this trend also.

Who Hosts the Shower?
Usually the maid/matron of honor or a close friend hosts the bridal shower.  Today, “Jack & Jill” bridal showers (bride and groom are in attendance) are very popular and therefore, a couple may host the party.

When Does it Take Place?
The bridal shower usually takes place anywhere from 2 months to 2 weeks prior to the wedding.  Remember, if a lot of the invitees are from out-of-town, you might have to schedule the shower around the time when most of the guests can attend.
