Baby Boomer Cathy Droz, and Generation X daughter Melanie Droz, test drive manufacturers’ vehicles and journal their rides for print, radio, television and the internet.  They give their honest opinion to manufactures and each other with a sense of humor, non-technical flare and mutual respect.  They are automotive lifestyle journalists who empower women of all ages to make decisions regarding automotive purchases and the care and maintenance of their vehicles.  You will enjoy the banter between mother and daughter, while you gain a better understanding of the industry.

Cathy has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Her expertise in marketing and advertising included writing television and radio commercials, setting up marketing campaigns, auto show events, celebrity endorsements and Latino divisions  for dealers.  Her advertising and marketing was focused on females.

Melanie is an 11th grade English and Journalism teacher at Sunnyslope High School. She is also the school newspaper advisor and girl’s soccer coach.  A very competitive athlete, and individual, she leaves the superlatives to her mother and gets to the point with her reviews and comments.   Melanie prefers more performance-type cars and finds all the new technology in vehicles fascinating.  A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant/winner two years ago, she loves game shows, reading and causes for teens.
