Tasty Tiramisu!

This is a wonderful recipe from Italy, the ladyfinger recipe dates back from the year 1348! Tiramisu means pick me up, because of the espresso.

I truly have a passion for cooking. I learned how to cook at an early age with my Mom, learning all her Italian dishes. My wife and I have traveled several times to Italy and frequented the trattorias to learn different recipes. I am currently working on an Italian cookbook.
Ingredients:
About 24 ladyfingers (to simplify this recipe I suggest buying store bought ladyfingers)
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
Salt
2/3 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
Tiramisu 3/4 cup heavy cream
5 tbsp. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 lb. mascarpone 4 tbsp.
Strong espresso
Cocoa powder
Instructions
Ladyfingers: Separate eggs and beat the yolks with a scant 1/3 cup sugar until frothy. Gradually add 1/3 cup flour, pinch of salt and mix.
In another bowl mix egg whites until stiff, carefully fold into egg yolks.
Grease a baking sheet with butter, sprinkle with flour.
Fill a piping bag and shape 4 inch long and ½ inch wide cookies.
Mix confectioners sugar and sprinkle over cookies wait 10 minutes and bake 300 till golden brown.
Cream filling: Beat cream with 1 tbsp. sugar until stiff whisk egg yolks with remaining sugar (4 tbsp.) until creamy stir in mascarpone one spoonful at a time lower speed
To assemble: Line ladyfingers in a 9 inch square pan, sprinkle with espresso then a layer of cream and then cover with another layer of ladyfingers and sprinkle with espresso, then a layer of cream sprinkle with cocoa powder and chill at least one hour and then enjoy!
