Tell us a little about yourself
I am a self-taught photographer who enjoys shooting landscapes, wildlife and fine art. There are many things that I enjoy in life, and one of them is combining the outdoors with photography. It’s a great excuse to get out and explore the beauty of the national forests, parks, oceans, and deserts. I believe that photography is one of the greatest art forms, and I love sharing the world through film with anyone who is interested in seeing the view.
What makes your photographs unique?
I specialize in obtaining rare photographs of places that are unattainable for most photographers. My hiking, backpacking and outdoor survival skills are what I use to navigate through rough terrain, carrying heavy camera equipment and gear, reaching faraway locations. I spend a great deal of time seeking out new territories and breathtaking vistas to be captured in their true form without computer manipulation, filters or colored lenses, to reflect a truly captured moment in the time of Earth’s history.
