 We asked owner Cathie to tell us about her Life Coaching business.
We can all use a coach who can listen, ask powerful questions and mirror back to us what we are saying, to discover what beliefs we have that may be holding us back. It is good to have an objective partner in your corner. You can have your own personal coach to call once a week and have the confidentiality to explore your personal feelings and begin to remove the self-limiting beliefs that may be preventing you from moving forward in life.
What sets you apart from other Life Coaches?
I believe I have a unique blend of humor, wisdom and genuine caring. I have had many personal challenges in my own life, so I bring credibility to my talk. I have taken my experiences and transformed my life and helped others to do the same.

What training do you have to be a Life Coach?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Initially, my plan was to pursue a career in Marketing, however, my greatest experiences at corporations were my personal interactions with co-workers, superiors and clients. I felt a natural ability to communicate with people about their personal lives and how they could gain more satisfaction in their day to day life. This led to my interest in Life Coaching. So, I enrolled in a coaching curriculum at www.coachu.com.
After completing 77 hours of Life Coaching training from Coach University, I felt a connection with this helping profession. So, I founded my own company called, Powerful Life Solutions, LLC. The training classes were done by phone with people all over the world much like a conference call and were facilitated by seasoned, successful coaches who shared their knowledge of the most effective ways to help people find their passion in life. Most coaching is done by phone.
