Sweet Connection Editors had a chance to chat with Melissa Hardison of Three Dog Bakery, located at the pet-friendly Biltmore Fashion Park Mall.
Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started in this business? I'm a former energy industry analyst with Salt River Project with an M.S. in Economics and Sandra is a former real estate agent with a B.S. in Finance. Three Dog Bakery was established in 1989 by two guys who began to cook for their own dogs. One thing led to another and now there are 30 bakeries around the world, including 5 in Japan and 2 in South Korea. We got started in the business because of our love for dogs and our desire to provide superior quality merchandise and the healthiest treats possible to our fellow dog lovers.
