What differentiates you from other boutiques?
Having unique merchandise, designers that are not found everywhere. Small quantities to keep it special. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
How did you get started?
I started in retail because I have always loved clothing & fashion. I had zero ability to draw so putting things together and creating looks became my specialty.
I started working in retail at 16, first job, worked in the drapery department cutting blinds and ordering drapery for customers. I finally got my fashion break to move to the Jr. Dept. From there merchandising for Casual Corner when they first opened, specialty boutiques in colleges….and so on
 What else should our members know about your store?
We are expanding the shop…opening up wall and adding 1200 sq. feet. The new side will be BOULEVARD 48. We will add some men’s denim, tops and belts.
About the owner:
Bev Carpenter, finally made her passion come true. After 22 years in the retail industry working for major department stores in Phoenix and the Kansas City area she has put together all the experiences under her own roof. Bev has worked in store planning in visual merchandising, special events/pr as well as corporate marketing for private branding.
