Georgie Designs is an online-only store based here in Phoenix. We asked owner Robyn to tell us about her jewelry.
Combining my love of beading, desire to be a stay at home mom, and lifelong entrepreneurial spirit, Georgie Designs was born! I use only quality materials in my designs. I try to make wearable art. The kind of jewelry you can wear on casual days but it makes you feel like you're dressed up.
Definitely the cocktail rings are the newest and best selling right now. My Spirit Collection also is in demand. It features "Soul Pendants" that symbolize and open heart and open mind and also "Wish Pendants" that are for those who want to reach a goal or wish to celebrate an achievement.
Shipping is always FREE! And I love custom orders I can usually make a ring, bracelet or earrings to match any of my necklaces. Just ask!
Tell us about yourself:
Born and raised in the Boston area, my first memorable experience with art was painting faces on the stones I found at the beach and selling them to neighbors. In sixth grade I painted t-shirts with puffy paint, selling the first one to my sister's boyfriend for $20. I was introduced to beading while living in San Diego in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the craft. After graduating with an M.S. in School Psychology in 2001, I worked in the public schools until 2006, when I "retired" to spend my days raising my beautiful baby girl here in Phoenix.
